Running a scam is a crime.
That’s why we are announcing our Climate Scammer Watch List.
And our inaugural member is one Himanshu Gupta.
Mr. Gupta runs a company called ClimateAi.
We can just imagine the discussions when starting his company:
F1: “Climate is really popping right now. There are absolute mountains of free taxpayer cash we can grab”.
F2: “AI is red hot too”.
F1: “I know! Let’s combine the two”.
So here is what ClimateAi do:
This sounds like a bold claim. Is their AI able to stop cyclones? Eliminate floods? End droughts? That seems unlikely.
Step 1 in the scam is to create an imaginary problem.
They do this with story placements in the media.
These stories normally start with a false premise and then build up from there.
1. Mention something people care about.
“Thanksgiving could soon become another victim of climate change”.
(“Another” victim? Name some of the other “victims” for us please).
2. Then make a few false foundational premise statements.
“Climate change threatens the abundance of the ingredients used to make traditional dishes”.
(This is false. See below).
3. Then quote the financially-compromised “experts”.
“These changes are causing harvest yields in Thanksgiving staple ingredients to decrease significantly, Himanshu Gupta, co-founder and CEO of ClimateAI, told ABC News”.
(Quoting “experts” is called “an appeal to authority”. It is used to silence any alternative views on the subject).
4. These “experts” usually have a magical solution ready. Often a very spendy “solution”.
We saw this same depressing Problem/Amplify/Solution pattern during Covid.
Problem: A seasonal coronavirus emerges.
Like they do every year.
Amplify: Lie and tell people that everyone’s life is in danger this time around.
In retrospect this lie is becoming ever more obvious.
Officially in Australia the virus had a 99.5% survival rate (about the same as the regular flu). According to the ABS, the median age of death was 84 years (which means that half were even older).
And the latest data analysis shows that if governments had said and done nothing about it, nobody would have noticed it.
Solution
Companies were ready with experimental chemical injections they said solved the “problem”. And they scammed hundreds of billions of dollars for those injections.
And the best thing you can say about them is that they did not do what was advertised on the tin.
Back to the green liars
The article quotes our Mr. Gupta’s amazing climate AI model:
“Yields will decrease by at least 5% by 2070, ClimateAi found”.
And getting these questionable claims out to the public has not been a problem, given the powerful support they have received.
But is the core claim of the article true?
That climate change and higher CO2 will cause crop yields to fall?
The people who grow plants in greenhouses for a living don’t seem to think so.
That’s why they buy CO2 generators.
So ClimateAi’s model says plant yields will drop. But those whose businesses rely on plants yielding more pay to add more CO2 to their plants.
Odd.
What do the CSIRO have to say about all this?
Australia’s peak scientific body have written about higher CO2.
The study, led by the Executive Director of the CSIRO Global Carbon Project, noted that the Earth has been getting substantially greener for at least the last 30 years.
And a landmark study in the prestigious journal Nature reached a similar conclusion.
Their study concluded:
“We show a persistent and widespread increase of growing season integrated LAI (greening) over 25% to 50% of the global vegetated area”.
Maybe someone can tell the Australian Government this.
We are spending billions to get carbon out of the atmosphere.
While at the same time we are spending billions to help farmers to grow more food.
We don’t ask very much of our politicians these days.
We used to ask that they stand for a few principles, not take bribes, and not tell us lies the majority of the time.
We even used to demand that they work in and for this country.
I marvel at people like yourself ed, for being able to do such great research, and put it altogether for the masses like me, so we can read it easily.
I don’t know for how many years I’ve rejected “climate change”. I think when it was first talked about, I really treated it like a joke. Then I got angry-the Michael Mann hockey stick graph sticks in my mind. I used to read a lot, now I’m always on the internet (within time permits-I have a family)-I read one of Ian Plimer’s books, can’t remember which one, but it sure convinced me to loathe climate change.
Of course I had no idea of what was coming. So many good people are sucked in by climate change. Or is it Global boiling now?
Do you know CLINTEL? clintel.org They boldly state:”There is NO climate emergency.” They’re backed by 1850 scientists and other experts, including 2 Nobel Laureates, and Ian Plimer is an Australian ambassador to CLINTEL. Apologies if you know all this. I got a newsletter from them the other day, they don’t come out very frequently. They’re based in Netherlands, so now the awful Mark Rutte is gone-WEF so and so he is, it will be interesting to follow climate policy in The Netherlands.
Again, sorry if you know all this, I just love CLINTEL.
Excellent article and spot on, nicely put together and easy to read - thank you.
