Let’s start at the beginning.
Governments that censor are NEVER the good guys:
And they censor for one main reason:
Here in Australia we live in a “democracy”.
That means we have representatives inside the government who can find out when they are trying to censor us.
Last year one of our best Senators named Alex Antic asked some government departments about how they were censoring during Covid.
And what response did Senator Antic get back from the government departments?
So then he filed a “Freedom of Information” request:
In response, the government pulled the ol’ switcheroo…
…and sent Senator Antic 28 pages of information that looked like this:
So the “Freedom of Information” inquiry by a Senator into censorship
LOL.
But our hero (Antic) had a few superpowers up his sleeve.
He summoned the censors to a Senate hearing:

The testimony, provided by a man by the name of Michael Pezzullo and a few others, was a masterclass in government gobbledygook.
Pezzullo and the others worked overtime to obscure the special censorship side deals they have made with the tech companies.
